I always keep nuts, dried fruits and muesli in my pantry. It makes great breakfast and contains lots of fiber. If you like the nutty taste of cereal bars, why don't you make your own? It's very simple to make and it's also great if you have kids for their snack pack in lunch box.

I have tried many different recipes on cereal bars or muesli bars but this one suits my taste buds best. It is crunchy and ideal for keeping it crisp for several days.
Ingredients
50g Butter
2:1(ratio) Glucose Syrup and Honey (e.g. if you add 10g glucose syrup, add 5g honey)
Mix of dried fruits, nuts, muesli and cereal of your choice
Note: You don't need accurate quantity in this recipe. You will know how much you want to add when you actually boil the butter, glucose syrup and honey mixture.
1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
2. Add butter, honey and glucose syrup in a sauce pan and bring it to boil.
3. Add your choice of dried fruits, nuts, muesli and cereal of your choice into the pot.
4. Mix it well. While the mixture is still warm, spread it onto an oven pan. Make sure the surface is evenly spread out.
5. Put the oven pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
6. When it's completely cool, take it out of the pan and cut it into bars.
If you try, it's not complicated at all. Kids will love the bar in their lunch box.
